God Loves You!

The Bible says, "God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never really die." (John 3:16)

The reason we need Him is. . .

All of us have done wrong things that are against God. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says , we have proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us. (Rom. 3:23)

But, out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in (being separated from God because of our sin, which results in death) and restored us to where He always wanted us to be. (Rom. 3:24, Rom 6:23)

God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.

Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn't, and doesn't, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready.

God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were still yet sinning. (Rom. 5:6 &

It is clear throughout the New Testament that Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

Possibly the most important verse in scripture is: "Jesus said, 'I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father except by me.' (John 14:6)

The only way to God is through the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Scripture reassures us, "No one who trusts God like this—heart and soul—will ever regret it." It's exactly the same no matter what a person's religious background may be: the same God for all of us, acting the same incredibly generous way to everyone who calls out for help. "Everyone who calls, 'Help, God!' gets help." (Romans 10: 11-13)

You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

The word that saves is right here, as near as the tongue in your mouth, as close as the heart in your chest.?It's the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us. Say the welcoming word to God—"Jesus is my Master"— That's it. You're not "doing" anything; you're simply calling out to God, trusting Him to do it for you. That's salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: "God has set everything right between Him and me!" (Romans 10:9-10)

…you can ask Him by praying a prayer like this:

"Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for me. Please forgive my sins. I accept your gift of eternal life and salvation. I ask you to be the Lord (the Boss) of my life. Starting right now, I want to serve you for the rest of my life. In Jesus name, Amen.”
