SPECIAL PROJECT 1
“THE MUSIC CITY SHOW”
“Living in Nashville,TN (Music City USA) I know a lot of musicians and promoters. The job of any good promoter is to draw attention to the Star! Like many of us with a dream, we get discouraged and ‘lose our song.’ What did the world famous, first recorded musician in all the world – poet, songwriter, guitarist, indescribably rich, ruggedly handsome warrior and personal friend of God …do when he had lost his song ? – He promoted God.” “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Ps. 37:4.
SPECIAL PROJECT 2
“HATING ON WAITING”
Considering that we are always waiting for something…waiting is usually not a question of, should I wait on God or not? But rather, does God always come through? Can I trust Him… depend on Him to deliver?” Impatience causes memory loss…Waiting cause us to remember that He’s dependable, sufficient and that He’s promised.” “Rom 8:28 doesn’t say WHEN they will work out together for the good, but It does say they…WILL…work out for the good.” “Though on God’s timetable, it often takes twice as long as I would like it to, what I waited for was always twice as good as I expected it would be.”
SPECIAL PROJECT 3
“WE’RE NOT WHO YOU THINK WE ARE”
“Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story— ” Psalm 107:2
God is redeeming a generation. – Tim gives ‘Gen Y’ a voice as he speaks on their behalf exposing their highly redemptive qualities. The Media Says; “I am slow to commit.” “But, I know I’m passionately dedicated.” “I am a challenge to manage.” “But, I know I’m an excellent worker.” “I am apathetic.” “But, I know I care deeply & pursue meaning.” “I know finding my voice takes risk. So I’m swinging for the fence, because what I might lack in talent, God will make up for in grace.”
SPECIAL PROJECT 4
“SUPERNATURAL SHORT-TERM MEMORY”
If you suffer from memory loss, be encouraged. According to Paul, all we need is “short term memory!” With our attention spans in the deficit…whether we realize it or not our ability to forget the past can be extremely liberating to the soul’s progression. “One of the hardest things to ‘look at’ is an athlete still living in the glory days. We all know that there’s something innately wrong with living in the past, but we all do it. Paul says FORGET not just the bad things of the past, but the good stuff too.” OUR BEST DAYS IN CHRIST ARE ALWAYS IN FRONT OF US. “…But one thing I do: Forget what is behind & straining toward what is ahead, I press on…” Phil 3:12-13a
SPECIAL PROJECT 5
“3 QUESTIONS GEN-Y IS NOT ASKING”
“What is the meaning of life?” “How do I balance & choose between life and work?” “What line do I stand in for a better life?” They’re not asking because, “it’s a waste of time when the answers are obvious.” – You wont believe what they assume.
